The new reality star comments on her disappointment in her husband’s friends.

Wired PR News – Patti Blagojevich, wife of impeached Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, remarked recently about her disappointment in her husband’s friends after his arrest. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Blagojevich stated on Wednesday’s episode of the NBC reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! that she and her husband did not feel supported by some individuals they believed to be good friends amid the scandal.

Blagojevich is quoted by the AP as stating, “People that he’s known for 17 years, they had to vote to impeach him…” She further stated that close friends of her husband, “”just weren’t strong enough to stand against the tide or speak up for him.”

As noted in the report, Rod Blagojevich entered a plea of not guilty for charges related to his allegedly attempting to sell the former Senate seat of President Barack Obama.
