CIA Targets Bankers as Recruits
The agency is reportedly looking for business professionals at an upcoming recruitment drive.
Wired PR News – The CIA is reportedly looking to recruit bankers and business professionals. As reported by Reuters, the agency is targeting those who have been laid off from their jobs in the profession in new advertising for a recruitment drive in New York.
One of the agency’s advertisements currently on the radio is quoted in the report as stating, “Economics, finance and business professionals, if the quest for the bottom line is just not enough for you, the Central Intelligence Agency has a mission like no other… Join CIA’s directorate of intelligence and be a part of our global mission as an economic or financial analyst. Make a difference in your career and for your nation.”
A spokesman for the CIA, Ron Patrick, is quoted by Reuters as saying of the transition for those formerly in the business field, “it’s going to be a very different use of their skill set than perhaps they’ve used on Wall Street.”
