A growing number of mothers in North Texas are finding success working from home.

Wired PR News – More and more North Texas mothers are reportedly jump-starting their careers in an atypical fashion. As reported by CBS 11 News, a number of these individuals have chosen to take advantage of work from home opportunities that have yielded them success.

Joni Brock, who began her own at home consulting business after unsuccessfully trying out various jobs, is quoted in the report as stating, “My son started kindergarten in the fall, so I knew at that point it was time for me to go back and do something… The biggest advantage of working from home is definitely the flexibility and being able to make my own schedule.”

Lillian Taylor, another home based worker is further quoted by CBS 11 as stating of hosting a home business job fair, “Our reasoning behind this is that there are so many people who have been laid off, and their options are to create their own business… Number one, you’ve got to love it. If you don’t love it, you’re not going to do it.”
