Hills Star Says Apology Was Faked
Lauren Conrad says she never received the apology seen being given by Spencer Pratt on the season’s final episode.
Wired PR News – Hills star Lauren Conrad has said she was not the real recipient of the apology heard round the world on the final episode of the hit reality show in May. As reported by Us Magazine, Conrad recently told the ladies of The View when asked about the apology from nemesis Spencer Pratt, that it really never happened.
Conrad is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call… That was filmed, and I wasn’t on the other end. So I didn’t even know about it until [it was on TV]. So, no, I didn’t get an apology. He lied.”
Conrad, who decided to leave The Hills, is further quoted as stating of her decision to attend the wedding of Pratt and Heidi Montag, “Its hard to understand now, but a long time ago — years ago — we moved here together, and we were best friends, and we used to say, ‘Some day at our wedding…. I just felt like it was a few hours of my time, and as much as I didn’t agree with it, I might some day regret not doing it.”
