Wired PR News – An 82 year-old Garland woman risked her safety to save her beloved pet. As reported by WFAA-TV, Dorothy Davis wrestled with a neighborhood pit bull to protect her schnauzer from a violent attack.
As noted in the report, the pit bull pounced on her pet while she was taking it for a walk outside. Davis is quoted by WFAA-TV as stating of the incident, “I just knew he was going to kill him, and I was not going to let that happen.” Davis reportedly ended up with cuts and bruises in stopping the attack, and so did her dog Cuda.
