Farrah Fawcett Dies After Lengthy Cancer Battle
The Charlie’s Angels star reportedly passed away Thursday morning.
Wired PR News – Actress and TV icon, Farrah Fawcett passed away on Thursday after a long battle with cancer. As reported by Access Hollywood, Fawcett, who rose to international fame after starring in the 1970s series “Charlie’s Angels,” died at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California Thursday morning.
Longtime companion of the star, Ryan O’Neal, with whom she has a son, Redmond O’Neal, is quoted by Access Hollywood as releasing the statement following her death, “After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away… Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”
Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.
