Perez Hilton Files Lawsuit Against Music Group Manager

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has filed a lawsuit against the manager of The Black Eyed Peas.

The blogger filed a civil suit against the manager of The Black Eyed Peas after an alleged assault.

Wired PR News – Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has filed a civil suit for a recent alleged assault on him outside of a nightclub. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, is suing the manager of the music group The Black Eyed Peas, Polo Molina, for damages resulting from an altercation that reportedly ensued after the blogger made critical remarks about the group’s new album.

Attorney for Hilton, Bryan Freedman, is quoted by the AP as stating of the suit, “Perez Hilton was assaulted by the band’s road manager because he would not agree to stop writing about the Black Eyed Peas on his Web site Perezhilton.com… Whether you love Perez or hate him, he is entitled to his freedom of speech without fear of physical violence. This lawsuit will make the statement that violence is never the answer.”
