Wired PR News – A Dallas based company has created an alert for reminding adults when children have been left in cars. As reported by CBS 11 News, the “Child Minder” by Baby Alert sounds an alarm to help parents be mindful of their children, and may potentially be life saving for some.

Joycelyn Spears of Baby Alert is quoted in the report as stating of the alarm, “The way that it reminds them is, the baby sits on a pad. And it’s actually the parent that has a key ring alarm unit. And when they walk away from the vehicle, the key ring will beep.”

As noted by CBS 11, doctors warn that heat exposure in a car may lead to serious health complications and even death for children.

The “Child Minder” is reportedly available for order online via Baby Alert’s website.
