Harry Potter Star Affected by Swine Flu
Actor Rupert Grint speaks of contracting the swine flu virus.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Actor Rupert Grint spoke Monday about his ordeal in contracting the swine flu virus, or A(H1N1). As reported by AFP, the “Harry Potter” star detailed initial fears about having the illness before his recovery.
Grint is quoted in the report as stating during a London press conference, “It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu… I thought ‘Am I going to die?’ But it was just like any other flu really… I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days.”
The 20 year-old actor was with fellow “Harry Potter” cast mates promoting the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film.
As noted by AFP, four deaths and approximately 7,500 swine flu related illnesses have been reported in Britain.
