Real Life Alpha Dog Murder Suspect Convicted
Jesse James Hollywood has been found guilty in the murder of a 15 year-old teen in 2000.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – The California drug dealer, who’s crime inspired the movie “Alpha Dog” has been convicted in the killing of a 15 year-old boy. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Jesse James Hollywood was found guilty Wednesday of kidnapping and murder after being charged with orchestrating the killing of teenager Nicholas Markowitz in 2000. Four accomplices to the crime have been convicted as well.
As noted by the AP, Hollywood reportedly devised the plan to kidnap Markowitz after his half brother failed to pay a drug debt. He was said to have testified on his own behalf in court, claiming he took the teen, but did not have him killed. Before his arrest in 2005, Hollywood spent years as a fugitive after fleeing to Brazil.
