Press Release Service – Wired PR News – A veteran Los Angeles teacher has been accused in the death of his wife aboard a cruise. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), authorities are investigating the death of Shirley McGill of San Fernando Valley who was married to Robert McGill, now a suspect in the killing. McGill, 55, was arrested on Thursday, after the return of the cruise ship the couple was on to San Diego. Shirley McGill’s body was discovered in their cabin by ship members. Her husband was later detained on board until officials could be reached.
Michael Hougardy, a close friend and neighbor of the couple is quoted in the report as stating, “It doesn’t make any sense. You are talking about a situation that just doesn’t have any connection to the people I know as neighbors…Bob and Shirley never said anything negative about each other.”
