Actor Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
Stephen Baldwin has reportedly filed for bankruptcy protection.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Actor Stephen Baldwin has reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. As reported by Reuters, the actor, who is brother to fellow actor Alec Baldwin made the filing Tuesday in New York, citing he owes a debt of over $2.3 million for mortgage payments, credit cards, and other expenses. The actor also owes a substantial sum for taxes.
As noted by Reuters, Baldwin’s wife Kennya is also listed in the filing. Baldwin is known for films such as “The Usual Suspects” and recently appeared on the reality television show “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.” His brother Alec, is an Emmy winning star, who has appeared in several films in addition to his current role on NBC’s “30 Rock.”
