Gamer Site Launches Instant Messaging Services
Raptr introduces services to give gamers easier access for keeping up with friends.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Social networking website for gamers, Raptr, has launched a new software that allows gamers to keep track of friends and fellow players online. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the gamer targeted site launched the software on Wednesday, which is stated to include instant messaging features as well as those connected to Twitter and Facebook. The features also allow gamers to join in with their friends for certain multiplayer games if they’ve installed the free Raptr download on their computers.
Raptr founder and CEO is quoted by the AP as stating of the demand for such services, “Most people prefer to play with friends, … but finding friends and playing with them is hard… Your friends are everywhere, and they play games on a lot of different platforms.”
