Hockey Player Attacks Cab Driver Over 20 Cents
NHL star Patrick Kane was arrested Sunday for an attack on a cab driver.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – An American professional hockey player has been arrested for attacking a cab driver. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), NHL star Patrick Kane was arrested and charged in Buffalo, NY Sunday for the attack, which is stated to have escalated over 20 cents.
As noted by the AP Patrick and his cousin James Kane reportedly attacked the driver, who sustained injuries to his face and had his glasses broken, after he failed to give them 20 cents in change.
Patrick Kane plays for the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team. A spokesman for the team, Brandon Faber, is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “He is a big part of our organization and a team leader and we stand behind him… As we are still collecting all the facts, it would be premature to comment further at this time.”
