The president spoke to a town hall audience in New Hampshire Tuesday about his health care plan.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – President Barack Obama was surprisingly met with a friendly audience Tuesday during a town hall meeting in New Hampshire at which he discussed his health care plan. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the White House expected an unruly crowd for the meeting, but the audience gave him a cordial reception.
As noted by the AP, Obama criticized the tactics of recent protestors of the plan who’ve disrupted town hall meetings across the country. The president is quoted in the report as stating, “For all the scare tactics out there, what is truly scary is if we do nothing.” Obama further remarked, “For all the chatter and the yelling and the shouting and the noise, what you need to know is this … if you do have health insurance, we will make sure that no insurance company or government bureaucrat gets between you and the care you need.”
