The pop star’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County coroner.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – The death of pop icon Michael Jackson has been officially ruled a homicide. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the Los Angeles County coroner recently made the determination, which may lead to criminal charges against the physician reportedly aiding him at the time of his death, Dr. Conrad Murray.
As noted by the AP, a lethal drug combination was found to have been administered hours prior to Jackson’s death. The Los Angeles police department is reportedly focusing on Murray, who was Jackson’s personal physician at the time the singer died of a heart attack in June, for a manslaughter investigation pertaining to the death. Murray is a cardiologist who practices in Las Vegas.
