Health Advocates Warn of Sugar Over Load
The American Heart Association has stated that Americans need to cut back on their sugar intake.

As reported by the Associated Press (AP), there is a growing concern by health advocates of the need for many to cut back significantly on their sugar intake, which is stated to be the equivalent of 22 teaspoons per day. The American Heart Association published in their Circulation journal online Monday information pertaining to the need to provide specific information about intake guidelines.
Rachel K. Johnson, lead author of the Association’s published statement, is quoted by the AP as stating, “Take a good hard look at your diet… Figure out where the sources of added sugars are and think about how to cut back on that.”
