The priciest neighborhood in the U.S. can reportedly be found in New Jersey.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Alpine, New Jersey is reportedly the most expensive neighborhood in the U.S. As reported by Reuters, a report released by Forbes.com lists Alpine, which is home to celebrities such as Hip Hop mogul Sean P. Diddy Combs and legendary singer Stevie Wonder, as the zip code with the priciest digs, on average. Homes in the small community reportedly average $4.14 million in price.
As noted in the report, other areas to make the list include Atherton in California and West Village in New York. Forbes has reportedly stated prices of homes in even some of the most expensive neighborhoods have also been affected by the recession, with homes in Alpine and Atherton having falling in price by over 20 percent.
