Press Release Service – Wired PR News – A woman was arrested at DFW airport after she spit on a police officer at a security checkpoint. As reported by CBS 11 News, Yukie Maeda of Japan was taken into custody after becoming agitated about possibly missing a connector flight and spitting on an officer’s chest.

Flyer Jim Bennight is quoted in the report as remarking of the incident, “I think it’s incredible… I’ve been late and almost missed flights too, but you have to do what you have to do. I can’t believe anybody would get to that level of angst, that they’d spit on a police officer.”

Maeda is reportedly now back in Japan, and charges against her for the incident have been dropped.
