Teenager Crashes in Wrong-Way Chase
A Dallas teen crashes after driving the wrong way after being tailed by police.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Police in Dallas were involved in an early morning chase Monday of a 14 year-old driver who led officers for a few blocks going in the wrong direction before crashing. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, the teenager crashed into a parked vehicle after leading police on a chase in Red Bird.
As noted in the report, the chase ensued after the 14-year old was seen by an officer speeding in a school zone, and the young driver refused to make a stop. The boy was reportedly chased on foot by officers following the crash before being taken into custody.
As further noted by the Dallas Morning News, the teenager was immediately provided medical attention, and may be charged with evading arrest.
