Press Release Service – Wired PR News – An Australian marketing company is providing Facebook users with a non-conventional means of making friends. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), uSocial offers clients access to Facebook friends by the masses for a fee.
As noted by the AP, the service is targeted primarily for businesses and others seeking to reach a wide audience on the social networking site. Facebook has reportedly taken issue with uSocial’s service and is currently investigating its practices. Company founder Leon Hill, 24, is quoted in the report as stating of the issue, “I do understand that there are people that have a problem with what I’m doing… we’re really only doing for our clients what they could do in their own time if they put their minds to it.”
