Some homeowners in Arlington are cashing in on the parking needs of game goers at the new Cowboys stadium.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Homeowners in Arlington who are located near the new stadium of the Dallas Cowboys have found a way to earn a little extra cash. As reported by CBS 11 News, some have chosen to turn what was previously viewed as an inconvenience into profit by allowing football fans to park on their property for a fee.
As noted in the report, parking for fans can reportedly be as high as $60; however, many have found homeowners who are willing to provide parking places for a significantly lower rate. Game goer Jon Hines is quoted in the report as stating, “I went on Craigslist and found a guy here locally and am parking in his driveway for $20.”
Jeff Monday, whose driveway Hines plans to use, is further quoted as stating, “I know we can’t park in my front yard according to the ordinance… I can park anything I want in the backyard.”
