The comedy show took home top honors at this year’s awards ceremony.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – “30 Rock” along with AMC’s “Mad Men” took top honors Sunday at this year’s Emmys. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the television comedy received its third award for best comedy series at the ceremony this year.
“30 Rock” creator, Tina Fey, who also stars in the series, is quoted by the AP as stating of the win, “We want to thank our friends at NBC for keeping us on the air … even though we are so much more expensive than a talk show.”
Matthew Weiner, creator of “Mad Men” is further quoted in the report as stating, “It is an amazing time to work in TV…And, I know that everything is changing, but I’m not afraid of it because I feel like all these different media is just more choice and more entertainment. It’s better for the viewers in the end and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
The awards were hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
