Apple Moves Up on Best Global Brands List
The technology giant changes position on a list of the world’s best global brands.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Apple has moved up in an annual listing of the best global brands. As reported by Macworld, the brand ranks number 20 on the 2009 list of Best Global Brands by Interbrand, which is four spaces above last year’s ranking.
As noted in the report, other top brands featured on the list include Coca-Cola, IBM, and Microsoft, which rank first, second, and third respectively. Josh Feldmeth and Helen Isakovich are quoted as writing of Apple in the Interbrand report, “Apple is the classic example of retaining focus through market cycles.”
As further noted by Macworld, Interbrand produces a rankings list of it what the company deems the top 100 corporate global brands each year.
