Obama Pays Visit to Letterman
The president interviewed with the late night talk show host on Monday.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – President Barack Obama paid a visit to David Letterman’s nighttime talk show, the “Late Show,” on Monday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Letterman began the early part of the program with a top 10 ten list of why Obama agreed to do the show, in which Obama subsequently jokingly stated it was to see the heart shaped potato brought by an audience member Letterman had talked with before he came on.
As noted by the AP, Obama discussed a number of topics with Letterman, including health care and the economy. Although Obama has appeared on the program prior to his being elected president, Monday’s interview will make him the first president to make an appearance on Letterman while in office.
