Mackenzie Phillips Talks About Incestuous Relationship with Father
The former child star discussed the relationship on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the former child star made the admission to “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in an episode shown on Wednesday.
Phillips is quoted as stating of her father, who passed away in 2001, “I understand that he was a very tortured man and … passed that torture down to me.” Phillips is further quoted as stating of the alleged long-term abuse, “I can’t be the only one this has happened to… Someone needs to put a face on consensual incest.”
Phillips detailed the relationship with her father and her battle with drug addiction in her new book “High on Arrival.”
