Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have welcomed their first child.

The actress and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child on Saturday.

Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child on Saturday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Gellar gave birth to a baby girl named Charlotte Grace Prinze.

Gellar and Prinze starred together in the films “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Scooby-Doo.” The couple, who first met in 1997 while working together, married in 2002.

Gellar shot to early fame while working on the daytime soap opera “All My Children,” and subsequently starred in a string of hit movies. Freddie Prinze Jr., the son of late actor and comedian Freddie Prinze, landed his first leading role in the film “She’s All That” in 1999, and has starred in several other successful films.
