Travolta Gives Testimony at Blackmail Trial in Bahamas
The actor recounted details of his son’s death while testifying on Wednesday.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – John Travolta gave testimony on Wednesday at the trial of two individuals charged with attempting to blackmail him following the death of his son in January. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Travolta recounted details of his son Jett’s death and also spoke for the first time publicly about his developmental disorder.
Travolta is quoted by the AP as stating of his son during questioning, “He was autistic. He suffered from a seizure disorder.” Jett reportedly died after having a seizure at a family vacation home in the Bahamas.
As noted in the report, paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamian Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater, are currently on trial for attempting to extort millions from Travolta. A total of 14 witnesses will reportedly be called for the case.
