Rush Limbaugh Makes Bid for NFL Team

The conservative talk radio host recently announced his involvement in a bid to buy the Rams.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – Controversial talk radio host Rush Limbaugh is making a bid to purchase an NFL team. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Limbaugh announced Tuesday that he would be partnering with Dave Checketts, who is current owner of the St. Louis Blues, in an effort to purchase the Rams.
Declining to provide details about the bid, Limbaugh is quoted by the AP as releasing the statement, “Dave Checketts and I have made a bid to buy the Rams and we are continuing the process.”
As noted in the report, the estimated value of the Rams franchise is $929 million. The children of the late former Rams owner Georgia Frontiere, Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez, currently own a 60 percent stake in the franchise.
