NFL Rookie Dies After Collapsing
NFL linebacker Tony Fein has passed away.
Press Release Service – Wired PR News – NFL rookie Tony Fein has died after collapsing at a friend’s home. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the former Baltimore Ravens preseason linebacker passed away from unknown causes Tuesday.
Fein’s agent, Milton D. Hobbs, is quoted by the AP as stating, “As I understand it, it was an accidental situation… As far as I understand it from family members, there’s nothing to indicate that he intended to hurt himself.”
Ravens coach John Harbaugh, is quoted in the report as stating of Fein, who was an Iraq war veteran, “Tony Fein was a really good teammate, a tremendous American, a tremendous young man … just a really good person… We were proud to have him here as part of our team. We’re unbelievably disappointed about the news.”
An autopsy has reportedly been scheduled to determine the cause of Fein’s death.
