Wayne Newton possible retirement

The Vegas show star may make his latest show his last.
Las Vegas (WiredPRNews.com) – Las Vegas performer Wayne Newton recently hinted he may be going into retirement. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Newton, who is also referred to as “Mr. Las Vegas” suggested the possibility to fans during his latest show.
Newton is quoted by the AP as stating of his desire to have more time to spend with his 7 year-old daughter, “I’m enjoying my second daughter in a way that I didn’t get a chance to do the first time around…The decision that I make, whether or not to perform or retire, will pretty much be based on that.”
As noted by the AP, Newton’s new show, “Once Before I Go” opened Wednesday. The singer is further quoted as stating, “If I still feel like I have something to give when this particular show is over, then I’ll make the decision to probably curtail work a little bit but not give it up totally…If I don’t feel that way at the end of this, then I’ll probably hang it up.”
