Seacrest granted temporary restraining order
The American Idol host has been granted a restraining order against an accused stalker.Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – American Idol host and E! News correspondent Ryan Seacrest has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking him. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the protective order against Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. was obtained after he was detained outside of the studio headquarters for which Seacrest works.Seacrest is quoted by the AP as writing in a filing Friday of Uzomah, “His aggressive and violent efforts to come into physical contact with me are extremely frightening to me… They have jeopardized not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of those around me.”Uzomah was reportedly arrested after the incident Friday and held on $150,000 bail.
