Teenager killed in Flower Mound

Police are investigating the killing of a teen at her home.
Flower Mound, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) - Flower Mound police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenage girl. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, 16year-old Brittany Munoz was found slain in the apartment she shared with her mother and sister Tuesday. Police were searching for her boyfriend, Garrett Gower, who had not been named a suspect, Wednesday.
Flower Mound police Capt. Wess Griffin is quoted in the report as stating of the search for Garrett, who is reportedly a person a interest, “We’re concerned for his welfare, and we obviously have some questions we want to ask him, but we’re not at the point where we can call him a suspect…He hasn’t been in contact with his family for 24 hours, which they said is out of the ordinary for him.”
