Clint Eastwood presented French Legion honor

The actor/director was presented with the honor Friday.
Paris, France (WiredPRNews.com) – French President Nicolas Sarkozy presented screen icon Clint Eastwood with one of the country’s most prestigious honors on Friday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Eastwood was made a French Legion of Honor commander for his life’s achievements.
As noted by the AP, the legion was created in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte in recognition of those who’ve made contributions to France. Eastwood is quoted in the report as stating of the distinguishment “This is a wonderful honor… It is just a great pleasure for me. I really love France. I love movies, and I love the appreciation that the French people have for movies.”
Sarkozy is further quoted as asking of Eastwood’s fitness regimen while exchanging banter with the 79 year-old actor/director, “You have to admit that there is a side about you that is a little annoying… Physically, how do you do it?”
