Workmen’s Circle to Launch New Vision at 12/10 Gala Honoring Seena Parker

New York, NY – November 19, 2009 – Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring announced a
Gala to be held December 10th featuring a celebrity reception, performances by the cast of the Broadway musical, Wicked and a performance by Theo Bikel in Sholom Aleichem: Laughter Through Tears. The two performances are to be held at Baruch College.

At the event, Workmen’s Circle CEO Ann Toback will announce a dramatic new vision and mission to attendees and to the media. According to the new vision approved this month by the organization’s Board, a distinctive technology-driven, activist approach to Jewish education and involvement, drawn on the group’s historic values will be at the forefront of plans going forward.
