Chelsea Clinton gets engaged to longtime boyfriend

The daughter of former president Bill Clinton has announced her engagement.
New York (WiredPRNews.com) – Daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton, and current Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton has announced her engagement to her longtime beau. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker, announced the news to friends via email on Friday.
As noted by the AP, the couple was speculated last summer to have plans to marry, but rumors about an impending marriage at the time were untrue. The couple’s families are longtime friends, and the two attended the same university. Mezvinsky’s parents are former Pennsylvania Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky and former Iowa Rep. Ed Mezvinsky, who served a prison term for fraud charges, which he plead guilty to in 2002.
As further noted in the report, Chelsea Clinton, 29, is currently a graduate student at Columbia University’s School of Public Health.
