North Texas toll fee review
The toll authority is reviewing the fairness of their toll fees amid receipt of a series of complaints.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – The North Texas Tollway Authority is reviewing their fee and fine rates after receiving numerous complaints from drivers. As reported by NBCDFW News, the NTTA recently completed a study measuring the fairness of the rates that is expected to be presented Monday to members of the NTTA board.
Sherita Coffelt, a spokesperson for the NTTA, is quoted in the report as stating of the assessment following a series of complaints, “I think it’s safe to say there is a disconnect…We are looking to find what part of the disconnect is our fault, and we want to get it right.”
Cofflelt is further quoted as stating of notices given to drivers, “We are committed to making sure they have a fair and reasonable opportunity to pay those tolls.”
