Google outlines new ad market strategy
The company recently outlined a new strategy to become more competitive in the display ad market.
San Francisco, California (WiredPRNews.com) – Google has recently outlined a strategy for increasing its competitiveness in the display ad market. As reported by AFP, the company’s executives recently spoke of the plan, which is expected to include substantial focus on DoubleClick ad-targeting technology.
Google vice president of product management Neal Mohan, is quoted in the report as stating of the strategy, “We want to simplify how display advertising is bought and sold… Our aim is to democratize the display advertising ecosystem to allow more businesses to participate.”
Mohan is further quoted by AFP as stating of the success already seen in display advertising on its video-sharing site YouTube, which is accessible to users worldwide, “This has been a terrific year for us in display advertising.”
