Officer investigated for alleged fake burglary report
Authorities are investigating a Dallas police officer accused of faking a burglary report to conceal a sex act.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – Officials are investigating a Dallas police officer who allegedly made a false burglary report to conceal his sex act in a squad car. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, Officer Keith Ashley was placed on restricted duty following accusations that he had sex with a woman in his patrol car in the parking lot of a school, during the same time he was believed to be responding a burglary call.
Angela Russell, a teacher at the Lighthouse Christian Academy who reportedly witnessed the incident, is quoted in the report as stating, “I saw a leg hanging out of the door, and me and another teacher observed a police officer in the vehicle, and when we looked closer we realized they were engaging in improper conduct.”
The investigation into the matter continues.
