The parents of the super star have reportedly filed for divorce.
Houston, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – The parents of singer and actress Beyonce are reportedly set to divorce. As reported by Us Magazine, a divorce filing for Tina and Matthew Knowles (who manages the music careers of both of his daughters) was made in November in Houston, Texas.
A source connected to the family is quoted by Us Magazine as stating of the situation’s impact on them, “It’s a rough time for the family — especially over the holidays… The kids are sad, but it’s been unraveling for some time.” The source is further quoted as stating, “They will try to make it cordial. They put their kids first, and will still be around each other.”
As noted in the report, the couple has been married for 29 years.
