Study unveils the happiest U.S. states
A new study suggests where the happiest places in the country are.
U.S. (WiredPRNews.com) – A new study has reportedly identified the happiest locations across the U.S. As reported by LiveScience.com, the research has pinpointed states in the country where people are deemed the happiest.
As noted in the report, among the top states on the list are Mississippi, Arizona, and Florida. Louisiana is listed as number one. Andrew Oswald of the University of Warwick in England is quoted in the report as stating of potential use for the findings, “When human beings give you an answer on a numerical scale about how satisfied they are with their lives, it is best to pay attention. Their answers are reliable… This suggests that life-satisfaction survey data might be very useful for governments to use in the design of economic and social policies.”
