Actors Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have reportedly split.

The couple has parted ways after more than two decades together.

Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – Hollywood star Susan Sarandon and her longtime partner Tim Robbins have reportedly called it quits. As reported by Us Magazine, the Oscar winning actors, who began dating after meeting while filming the movie Bull Durham in 1988, separated months ago after 23 years together.

Teal Cannaday, a representative for Sarandon is quoted by Us as recently stating of the split, “Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer… No further comments will be made.”

As noted in the report, Sarandon and Robbins have two sons together, and Sarandon has a daughter from a previous relationship. Both Sarandon, 63, and Robbins, 51, are regarded for their social activism in support of liberal based causes.
