Electronic Arts stands by Tiger Woods
The game maker giant plans to continue its relationship with the golfer despite recent events.
San Francisco, CA (WiredPRNews.com) – Electronic Arts Incorporated recently expressed intentions of sticking with golf pro Tiger Woods despite recent events that have tarnished the reputation of the former sports idol. As reported by AFP, the game maker giant has expressed intentions to continue with plans to release an online game featuring Woods later in the month.
Peter Moore, President of EA Sports, is quoted by AFP as stating that Woods is, “still one of the greatest athletes in history” and “Our relationship with Tiger has always been rooted in golf… We didn’t form a relationship with him so that he could act as an arm’s length endorser.”
Woods announced plans to take a break from golf following reports that he was unfaithful to his wife with multiple partners.
