Socialite and heiress Casey Johnson was found dead in her home on Monday.

Investigators are searching for the cause of death of Casey Johnson.

Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – Investigators are seeking to find the cause of death of Johnson and Johnson heiress Casey Johnson. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Johnson, 30, who was diagnosed with diabetes in her youth, was found dead in her home Monday.

As noted by the AP, Johnson’s father is New York Jets owner Robert Wood “Woody” Johnson IV, and she is the great-great-granddaughter of Robert Wood Johnson I, who co-founded pharmaceutical product manufacturing giant Johnson and Johnson.

Casey Johnson made recent headlines after reportedly becoming engaged to reality television star Tila Tequila, and allegedly burglarizing the home of a friend. She also adopted a child from Kazakhstan in 2007, and was reportedly fighting for custody of the young girl.

Paris Hilton, a friend of Johnson’s is quoted in the report as posting the statement on Twitter regarding her death, “In bed crying, looking at baby pictures of Casey, Nicky and I. I feel so upset. I feel like I’ve lost a sister. My heart is broken. Miss her.”
