Two possible deaths in cargo plane crash
Two individuals are believed to be dead after a small plane crash in Illinois.
Wheeling, Illinois (WiredPRNews.com) – A plane crash Tuesday has possibly resulted in the deaths of the two individuals on board. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the pilot and co-pilot of the small cargo jet were believed to have been killed in the crash that occurred after the plane was cleared for landing at a Chicago airport.
As noted in the report, the plane, which was set to pick up freight at an airport in Wheeling, crashed into the Des Plaines River Tuesday afternoon with the two people on board. J. David Vanderveen, who oversees three county airports in Oakland County is quoted by the AP as stating of the two who were aboard, “There was a pilot and a co-pilot… Both were commercially rated, which means they were professional pilots.”
