Diff’rent Strokes actor hospitalized
Gary Coleman has reportedly been hospitalized.
Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – Gary Coleman, the former star of the 1980s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes has reportedly been admitted into a hospital in Los Angeles. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Coleman was hospitalized to undergo tests after complaints of feeling ill.
The actor, 41, has undergone two kidney transplants over the course of his life due to a congenital kidney disease, and reportedly has regular dialysis treatments. Coleman’s agent, Robert Malcolm, is noted by the AP to have stated the actor was taken to the hospital in an ambulance from his hotel after giving interviews about a recent movie project. It was not reported that his hospitalization was related to his condition.
As further noted in the report, tests showed Coleman to be fine, but he could remain in the hospital overnight before being released.
