Snowboarder injured in accident
Danny Davis has reportedly been hospitalized for a back injury.
Salt Lake City (WiredPRNews.com) – Snowboarder and Olympic hopeful Danny Davis has reportedly been hospitalized after being involved a non-snowboarding related accident. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Davis sustained a back injury that led to his admittance into a hospital in Utah. Further details about the injury were purportedly not yet available at the time of the report.
As noted by the AP, Davis and fellow snowboarder Kevin Pearce, who was also injured in an accident during practice in December, were friends. Pearce is reported to be currently in a hospital in Salt Lake City after sustaining a serious head injury.
As further noted in the report, Davis recently won at a Snowboarding Grand Prix competition, at which he dedicated his highly praised routine to Pearce.
