The IRS has posted tax top information on YouTube.
Washington (WiredPRNews.com) – The Internal Revenue Service has reportedly launched a YouTube channel that features videos that offer visitors information about tax deductions, recent changes tax, and other related information. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), dozens of videos are featured on the channel covering a broad range of tax issues.
Terry Lemons, a spokesman for the IRS, is quoted by the AP a stating of the decision to launch a YouTube channel, “Our approach is to use multiple avenues to get information out to people.”
As noted in the report, the videos are shown in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. They have reportedly received over 200,000 views since the agency launched the channel last year. Lemons is further quoted as stating of the videos in comparison to typical YouTube features, “These are not going to compete with the dancing babies out there.”
