Champion racer healed from last year’s injury
Michael Schumacher recently stated that a previous neck injury he sustained in an accident has healed.
Berlin (WiredPRNews.com) – World champion racer Michael Schumacher recently stated that the neck injury he sustained in a motorbike accident last year has healed. As reported by AFP, the seven time champion stated Wednesday that the injury no longer present issues as the 2010 season is set to begin.
Schumacher is quoted in the report as stating on his website, “The after-effects of that accident are long gone, that’s why I was sure that the neck would not cause any problems… This was one year ago - that’s over. I have been practicing since December physically very carefully and feel extremely fresh and fit.”
As noted by AFP, Schumacher retired from Formula One in 2006, but has announced plans for a comeback in 2010.
