Sellers get agitated after a consignment shop closes and fails to return their items.
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) – Individuals who took their items to a consignment shop in East Dallas to sell were in for a rude awakening when the store suddenly closed down. As reported by NBC DFW News, the Red Cat Consignment Boutique failed to return items to their owners upon closing down, or provide notice to sellers that they would no longer be in business.
Olga Quintanilla, who had paintings in the store, is quoted by NBC DFW News as stating, “I’m willing to do anything to get my stuff; and not just my stuff, everybody else’s things… I mean, this is a crime. This is a crime that these two people have committed, and it makes me angry.”
As noted in the report, without a means of contacting the owners of the shop, several customers have left written messages on the storefront threatening legal action against them.
